5 Ways You Can Find The Time To Create Content

I posted a YouTube video about this yesterday, but let’s go deeper with more ideas than just, “Stop scrolling” and “Don’t touch your phone the first hour you’re awake.”

Schedule It

Put it on your calendar and it will get done. If this still doesn’t work, then you’ll realize how you can improve your calendar and project management system.

Early Birds vs. Nighthawks

Figure out if you want to take advantage of the quiet morning or night. I spent enough years of my life waking up at 2:00, 3:00, and 4:00 am. Conventional wisdom says only waking up early works. Ignore that. Do you.

Get a Coach!

If the parameters of your life are out of control, if your house is always a mess and sucking your time, and if you “can’t find the time” no matter how hard you try, then you can benefit from having a coach. (Like me 😉).

Automate Some Stuff

NOT your content creation. But find a way to automate whatever you can in order to buy yourself focus time with apps like Zapier and Motion.

Reduce Your Cognitive Load

I wish someone had told me this years ago! I automate my social posts with a SaaS called MissingLettr. Do I write social posts for money? Yes. Do I want to write my own? No. I want to spend my brain’s energy on writing stuff like this — plus blogs, creating podcasts, course content, and video!

(See my affiliate links to Motion & MissingLettr on the “about” page of my site at the bottom of this atomic essay!)
