But implementing ahimsa in your business practices will last longer than “empathy” lasts as a buzzword. “Non-harming” in the world of business means putting a customer first, listening, providing value, working with integrity, and ensuring everyone profits — not just me.

It creates the idea of a “we” in place of “me,” allowing us to remember the point of yoga is union, or interconnectedness.

So you see, you don’t have to become a tie-dye and patchouli-wearing “hippie” vegan who doesn’t wear deodorant in order to practice yoga at work!
