I began a 90-day “Content Storm” on December 1, 2021 in which I ship daily and there’s no reason you can’t do the same.

1. This Method Doesn’t Fail

I started shipping before I knew it had this name; I merely wanted to commit to a consistent 90-day process I dubbed #ContentStorm on Twitter to hold myself accountable. In December, I discovered 🚢 #Ship30for30!

Here’s what Dickie & Cole are teaching that I know to be true:

  • Shipping daily gives you data points & creates a library. You can’t buy this!
  • Shorter is better.
  • The friction goes away.

These guys are really onto something!

You Won’t “Forget” to Ship

I promise. I forget to do a lot of my daily things like meditation or language learning that I’ve committed to habit. But I haven’t forgotten to write & ship each day! I do forget my daily accountability tweet sometimes. But I think around the clock of what I’m writing next or how to improve my last piece.

It’s always on my mind.

This Makes You Better in Every Way So Just Do It

I’m already noticing a difference in my writing and not just the mechanics. I’m improving my skills faster! I manage my time better to make room for writing. I seek feedback, even if it comes from analytics instead of humans, though I much prefer the latter.

The consistency of daily shipping has me growing faster than anything I’ve tried — and it’s available to everyone! All it takes is effort!
