On December 1, 2021, I committed to writing & publishing online daily for the next 90 days.

That’s it.

My only hypothesis was that I’d get farther and grow an audience better by showing up consistently each day.

• @WriterHeatherL Twitter by 161 followers
• My cats’ TikTok by 1,140 followers
• I started my own coaching TikTok & grew 81 followers there
• Medium grew from 3 to 315 followers

These are the areas I’ll be doubling down on, of course!

Here Are The Verticals That Didn’t Grow For me

• Patreon
• Substack (35 views in 90 days. Ouch).
• My Squarespace site
• ConvertKit & Revue newsletters
• Instagram & Facebook (anything “Meta)

Why This Was a Valuable Experiment

For me, many questions of mine were answered. I went into this wondering, “Which is better, Medium? Or Substack?” This was answered with a resounding “Medium!”
